Open Enrollment Period runs from November 1 to January 15. It is the time in which anyone eligible can enroll in an Affordable Care Act health insurance plan. During the rest of the year, you can only enroll in Obamacare if you have a Qualifying Life Event. Qualifying Life Events (QLE) include losing your health coverage, having a child, or moving. A Special Enrollment Period to shop the Marketplace begins after an eligible QLE occurs. Grab our free step-by-step guide to enrolling in Marketplace health insurance here to learn more.
