More choices for 2020 OEP: Insurers are offering more ACA health insurance plans
There’s some great news in store for those shopping the Marketplace during the 2020 Open Enrollment Period. Those looking for Affordable Care Act plans will find that 60 percent of Marketplace insurers plan to broaden their participation in the ACA markets for 2020.

The 2020 Marketplace: By the numbers
45 percent of insurers plan on offering additional plans in the markets they already serve. That’s a big difference from last year, when only 21 percent of insurers offered more plans on the Marketplace than they had the year before.
And best of all, 46 percent of insurers say they plan to either keep premium rates the same or lower them for 2020 Open Enrollment. And more than half of insurers also say that they will not be changing out-of-pocket expenses for their 2020 plans.
