How do you log into your HealthCare.gov account?

Not sure how to log into your HealthCare.gov account? Most simply, you’ll just need the username and password you established when you created your HealthCare.gov account.

Can’t remember those? Accounts created after February 2014 will have used your email address as your username. If you can’t remember your password, you can follow the “forgot password” prompt to reset your password. If you’ve forgotten your username or password, you’ll be asked to answer the security questions you gave answers to when you first created your account. Can’t remember those either? Than call the Marketplace’s customer service number, 800-318-2596, to regain access to your account and log back-in. HealthCare.gov also gives a breakdown of step-by-step instructions for logging into your Marketplace account.

Some people who enrolled through an agent or broker may not have a HealthCare.gov account. If that’s the case for you, you can create a HealthCare.gov account here.

You can also manage your Marketplace health insurance, report changes, and download important documents on HealthSherpa here.

You can compare health insurance options and prices, see if you qualify for a subsidy, cost-sharing reduction, or a tax credit, and shop for a health plan in the Health Insurance Marketplace here. You can also contact a Consumer Advocate to get your questions answered by calling (872) 228-2549.

Open Enrollment period runs from November 1 to January 15. After that, you can only enroll in an Affordable Care Act health insurance plan during a Special Enrollment Period. Special Enrollment Periods are triggered if you have a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). QLEs are things like losing your health coverage, having a child, or moving.
